Love Your Photos? Cut ‘em up.

Slice-it-up Photo Card

Using duplicate photos gives you creative license to slice up your photos for special effects. Look how cool the flower photo looks when you make diagonal cuts and then put it back together again. The creative touch makes it look better than the original.

How to do it…
Mat a photo on white paper and make a scant 1/4″ border using deckle-edge scissors. Make four diagonal vertical cuts along the photo/mat. Try to place the main subject in the center of one of the pieces. Arrange on black paper, leaving a 1/8″ space between each piece. Trim around photo/mat, leaving a scant 1/4″ border. Cut a mat around a metallic charm and glue it over the bottom edge of the photo. Attach brads to the corners of the photo, and you’re done. Now you have a photo card that is a cut above the rest!

Hey Crafters,

Have you checked out the Creative HomeĀ  Arts Club?? I enjoy the emails I receive from them that I thought I would share.

Enjoy!
