Another TMZ.com~D.A. Reviewing Merriman/Tequila Incident

We’re one step closer to finding out if Shawne Merriman will face charges over the alleged Tila Tequila choking incident — the District Attorney’s Office is now reviewing the case.

Today the DA’s office was given all of the information gathered by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department — which include Tila’s citizen’s arrest warrant from this weekend accusing Merriman of two felonies: battery and false imprisonment.

The DA can either file charges, reject them, or refer Tila’s accusations to the San Diego City Attorney’s office for consideration as misdemeanors.
